Who is responsible for your data

What we collect

Quote requests: your name, email, phone, nationality, country of residence, the services and plan you are interested in, whether you are already in Portugal, and your message.
Contact messages: your name, email and message.
Partner applications: agency name, contact name, email, phone, country, website, expected monthly volume, services of interest and message.
Orders: the documents a service needs, which can include your passport, proof of address, visa or residence permit, and existing Portuguese numbers.
Technical data: a keyed hash of your IP address, used to limit form abuse.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

To reply to a request and prepare a quote: steps you ask us to take before a contract.
To carry out your order, including filing through our partner lawyer: performance of a contract.
To keep the website and its forms secure from abuse: our legitimate interests.
To keep records the law requires: legal obligation.

Who we share it with

Our partner lawyer in Portugal, who acts on your request.
Portuguese authorities, as your request requires.
Service providers who host our website and database and send our email, under contract and on our instructions.

We do not sell your personal data.

International transfers

Portugal is in the European Economic Area. Where a transfer leaves the UK, we rely on the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

How long we keep it

By default, we keep personal data for 24 months after your order closes, and then delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, and ask us to correct it, erase it, restrict its use, or transfer it. You can also object to our use of it. Email us to use any of these rights. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator.
